5-Year-Old Boy Dies After Being Found at Bottom of Airbnb Pool in Florida

A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Central Florida after a 5-year-old boy died following a drowning incident at an Airbnb rental property in Davenport. According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the home shortly after 1 p.m. after receiving reports that a child had been found unconscious at the bottom of a swimming pool.

When first responders arrived, deputies immediately began performing CPR and continued life-saving efforts until fire rescue personnel took over. The young boy was rushed to Celebration Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead despite emergency medical treatment.

Authorities said the child, a resident of Brevard County, was staying at the Airbnb with extended family and had been swimming with other children when the incident occurred.
